Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AI Background Remover iOS app and its backend service (the “Service”), operated by Sinan Coskun (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store; Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your download of the App. Where these Terms conflict with it, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.
1. The Service
The App lets you remove and replace the background of photos you choose, using AI image processing. Results are generated automatically by AI models and delivered to your device; you decide whether to save them.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and old enough under the law of your country to agree to these Terms and to make purchases (or have a parent or guardian's consent).
3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
• Access to processing requires an auto-renewing subscription (for example weekly or yearly), purchased through your Apple account.
• Where offered, a free trial converts automatically to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price shown at purchase.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
Subscriptions may include fair-use limits on the number of images processed per period, shown in the App. We may adjust plans and prices; changes apply from the next billing period and Apple will notify you where required.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you submit and the results you generate. You grant us a limited license to receive, store, and process your photos solely to provide the Service (including passing them to our AI processing provider). Uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our storage no later than 180 days after upload, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to upload content that:
- you do not have the rights to use;
- is unlawful, or infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- depicts or exploits minors in any sexual or abusive way (zero tolerance — reported where required by law);
- you intend to use to harass, defame, deceive, or harm others.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service or access it with automated tools;
- circumvent usage limits, subscription checks, or security measures;
- interfere with the operation of the Service or other users' use of it;
- use the Service in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
6. AI output
Results are produced by automated AI models and may contain artifacts, inaccuracies, or imperfections. The Service is provided for general creative use; you are responsible for reviewing results before using them, and for how you use them.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The current version is always available at this page; material changes will be indicated by the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
